Derby College
Skillhouse, the commercial arm of Derby College provides high quality, consistent training assessment and verification to the Glazing Industry on a national basis, In the form of NVQ's and related short courses.
Qualifications Available:
- NVQ Glazing Installation and Maintenance Level 2
- NVQ Fenestration Installation and Surveying Level 2 & 3
- NVQ Glass Processing Level 2
- NVQ Production of Glass Supporting Fabrications Level 2
- Assessor and Verifier Units
All NVQ's are assessed in the workplace by experienced assessors, who are able to give advice and support with the backing of a major Further Education College.
All Workforce assessments are carried out with the minimum of disruption to the production and Installation process.
Health and Safety courses and profiling can also be arranged to enable experienced workers to apply for the Construction Skills Certifications Scheme (CSCS) card.
