GPS 20 In Feb 2009
Valentine’s Day 14th February 2009 will be the 20th anniversary of the inauguration of the Global Positioning System constellation of satellites that quickly become better known by its initials “GPS”.
What was developed as a US ‘military’ system is now embedded in daily life. China, India and Japan are developing their own equivalent systems.
