The CITB (CSCS Linked) Heath and Safety Test & GQA Centres

The CITB Health and Safety test is increasingly available via a wide variety of providers. Originally the test was primarily available via Prometric/DVLA test centres.

A small number of GQA Approved Centres have chosen to offer the Health and Safety Test and a supporting service.

The GQA Centres offering the Health and Safety Test “usually” provide a support service that can include (for successful candidates), taking photograph, helping with CSCS form completion, forwarding form to request appropriate CSCS cards, etc.

In some instances it becomes apparent that the candidate does not have the appropriate qualification to access a full craft CSCS card and the centres can (with the employers approval) take action to immediate register candidates and apply for a Experienced Worker card.
