SSC Partnership

Two Sector Skills Councils, Semta and Cogent, have announced a partnership agreement to improve support to employers by collaborating on common areas of research on science and technology skills and on joint development of standards and qualifications for the workforce. Semta’s responsibilities cover science, engineering and manufacturing technologies, while Cogent works with the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, nuclear, oil and gas, petroleum and polymer industries.
