Ofqual Investigations

Ofqual supported a number of court actions in 2008 by local authority trading standards departments against institutions which incorrectly claim to be recognised by awarding organisations. In one recent case a successful prosecution resulted in a fine of 7000 GBP being imposed on the company involved.
