GQA in Top 10% of QCF Awarding Organisations

Whilst many Awarding Organisations (AO’s) appear to have qualifications in the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) the majority are there by virtue of being involved in the original QCF tests and trails.

Since the test and trails, new AO criteria have been developed for QCF. GQA has satisfied there criteria and was in the top 10% of AO’s to become a “Recognised QCF Organisation”

The qualification of these AO’s who do not achieve the new criteria will expire in 2010.

At the time of drafting this item some other AO’s have become “Recognised” bringing the total to seventeen out of over one hundred and forty AO’s.
