Who Is This Qualification For
The relevant assessment strategy for this qualification has been developed by Proskills and can be found on their website (http://www.proskills.co.uk/Proskills_quals9.asp)
This qualification is aimed at those who install fascias, soffits, and bargeboards in the domestic market. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 2, and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments. Candidates should require minimum supervision whilst carrying out related activities.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should achieve all the 10 mandatory units, plus 1 other unit from the 2 optional units.
Candidates should provide evidence of competence in all the statements listed for each element. Evidence of performance and knowledge is required for each unit being undertaken. Evidence of performance should be demonstrated by activities and outcomes, and should be generated in the workplace only, unless specifically stated in the qualification assessment guidance. Evidence of knowledge can be demonstrated through performance or by responding to questions.
