GQA 3 Year Strategic Plan
GQA is established as the Awarding Body for glass and glass related qualifications. This role is kept under constant review.
GQA is currently accredited by national regulatory bodies to award NVQ, SVQ and VRQ qualifications in the glass and related sectors and 'A & V' single unit Awards.
National vocational qualifications (NVQs/SVQs) are based on the National Occupational Standards of approved Standards Setting Bodies (SSBs). GQA will work with the Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) and other Standards Setting Bodies (SSBs) setting standards, appropriate to the qualifications relevant to the growth and success of GQA.
GQA has the support of selected SSBs, industry federations/societies, employers and relevant occupational groups.
The GQA Strategic Plan is reviewed annually by the Board.
